Terms and Regulations
GENERAL INFORMATION
SIMI Swiss, Undergraduate SwissUK™ and partners (hereinafter referred to as “we”) have established a set of terms and policies applicable to learners, partners, and related parties to ensure transparency and prevent any misunderstanding or deliberate misinterpretation. We guarantee that these terms are publicly available, with the official version in English, and have been communicated to all relevant parties. These regulations and policies are implemented as part of our commitment to transparency and to safeguard the legal rights and interests of learners, our institution, partners, and all associated stakeholders.
About Undergraduate SwissUK™
Under SwissUK™ is a member of the Undergraduate Faculty of SIMI Swiss, developed as part of the institute’s bachelor-level academic system.
Swiss Information and Management Institute (SIMI Swiss) is not a local educational institution but an international higher education institute delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes under the Swiss Truly International™ Higher Education Institute standard. Its programmes and qualifications integrate the Swiss Private Degree system with the UK Government-recognised qualification framework.
Learning Model
With the coordination and academic resources provided by SIMI Swiss – the international Swiss higher education institute operating under the SIMI Swiss Direct™ model – learners of the Undergraduate SwissUK™ programme study directly with the original programme, with no partnerships, no authorisations, and no intermediaries. This model ensures:
- Access to the original, authentic curriculum
- 100% international lecturers
- No partnerships, no authorisations, no intermediaries
- Full legal compliance, avoiding violations related to unlicensed or third-party training providers
- Protection of learners’ rights and interests
Local representatives of Undergraduate SwissUK™ and SIMI Swiss act solely as academic support partners, assisting learners in their study process with SIMI Swiss. They do not conduct teaching, collect tuition fees, or assess learners’ academic performance.
Who can study with Undergraduate SwissUK™
Individuals who meet the eligibility and entry requirements specified for each programme published by Undergraduate SwissUK™ may apply for admission. We provide equal opportunity and full support to all qualified applicants, regardless of race, religion, or region.
Learners enrolling in Undergraduate SwissUK™ must comply with the regulations and guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook and all officially published information, and must provide accurate entry information.
If an applicant or student violates the principle of honesty, Undergraduate SwissUK™ reserves the right to refuse admission, revoke student status, and invalidate academic results. In such cases, no compensation or refund will be provided. Conversely, any applicant found guilty of fraudulent actions will be required to compensate for any damages resulting from their misconduct.
Published Information and Educational Objectives
Undergraduate SwissUK™ regularly updates its programme and faculty information to maintain accountability and ensure alignment with market demands and relevant regulatory frameworks. The content on the website, publications, and media channels is accurate at the time of release but may change without prior notice.
Programme objectives and curricula may be revised while learners are still enrolled; however, such updates will continue to meet the learning outcome framework and assessment standards of independent accreditation bodies. Should any adjustments occur, Undergraduate SwissUK™ will inform learners about the changes, new programmes, or updated study pathways. In cases where modifications result from economic, political, or force majeure circumstances, the delivery method may be adjusted. The institution will notify and consult with learners to update the training model and plan accordingly.
Third-party materials are those purchased, licensed, or used under copyright by Undergraduate SwissUK™. Some learning materials are developed by Undergraduate SwissUK™ faculty. While all materials are reviewed and approved by the Academic Council, certain content may not fully align with the contexts of some international learners (as what is accurate in one country may not apply in another). In such cases, Undergraduate SwissUK™ will promptly make necessary adjustments if the impact is significant. However, the institution shall not be held responsible for any consequences arising beyond the classroom context.
Learners and related parties may use academic content for personal study and research purposes only. Copying, sharing, or distributing such materials in any form—whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes—is strictly prohibited. Further details on copyright and intellectual property are provided in the section titled “Copyright.”
TERM & POLICIES
Credit
Credit is the acknowledgment of the amount and duration of study required to acquire knowledge.
SIMI Swiss employs the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) for its credit system. Some SIMI Swiss programs also utilize the UK RQF credit system due to our partnership with the British education system.
The Academic Board at SIMI Swiss is responsible for internal credit recognition. It’s important to note that while SIMI Swiss and our partners perform this recognition, we cannot guarantee that these credits will also be recognized by other universities or entities not affiliated with SIMI Swiss.
If you intend to transfer your SIMI Swiss credits to another educational institution or system, we recommend consulting with the destination university or other entity first. While SIMI Swiss will offer assistance within our capabilities, we do not intervene in the admissions processes of other universities. It’s crucial to understand that SIMI Swiss cannot commit to guaranteed recognition when transferring to another institution.
Recognition of Learning and Qualifications
Upon successful completion of all coursework and fulfilment of academic, disciplinary, and study obligations, learners will have their achievements officially recognised and be awarded a qualification under the UK National Qualification Framework (RQF).
For dual-degree or collaborative programmes, learners may also receive additional qualifications or certificates from relevant partner institutions, depending on the terms of the specific partnership agreement.
Each country, institution, and territory has its own regulations regarding the recognition of learning achievements and qualifications. In line with international practice, the recognition or acceptance of qualifications is at the sole discretion of the receiving institution, government authority, or regional policy within each country.
Undergraduate SwissUK™ and its partners strongly advise learners to research thoroughly the recognition and acceptance of qualifications in their target countries or institutions before enrolling.
As stated publicly, Undergraduate SwissUK™, its partners, affiliated universities, and academic collaborators do not guarantee, assure, or provide support for the recognition or acceptance of qualifications after graduation, as this matter is beyond their authority and decision-making scope.
Undergraduate SwissUK™ reserves and upholds this liability exemption before, during, and after the learner’s graduation.
Information Assurance, Security and GDPR
We strive to protect personal information by strictly adhering to regulations, ensuring data safety and security, and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Apart from collecting information necessary for programme implementation, training, and quality improvement, we do not gather additional data from students or partners. Any disclosure to third parties beyond these purposes will occur only upon lawful orders or requests from competent authorities.
In the event of a data security breach resulting from unauthorised access, SIMI Swiss will cooperate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to address the issue. SIMI Swiss disclaims liability for breaches arising from circumstances beyond its control.
Copyright Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of content providers, instructors, students, and other third parties. We also expect all students and users of our educational system to uphold the same respect for intellectual property rights.
When studying or collaborating with us, students and other stakeholders must comply with both signed and unsigned regulations that align with international copyright standards.
All information published by us and our partners — including learning materials, documents, forms, minutes, and any other content officially or unofficially released, internally or externally — is the property of our institution. Students, partners, and other stakeholders must not copy, use, or reuse any material for purposes other than learning and personal research. Any reproduction beyond this copyright agreement, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, constitutes a copyright infringement against us.
Copyright infringement is considered one of the most serious violations. We reserve the right and authority to terminate a student’s enrolment, annul results, revoke degrees, and deactivate online accounts if an infringement of intellectual property rights is discovered. This policy remains in effect even after the completion of the study programme.
In cases where a student or another party commits a copyright violation resulting in damages (including actual, potential, or implied damages), we fully support the investigation process but assume no material, financial, or legal liability for infringements beyond our scope of control or influence.
Faulty Communication and Unfair Competition Prevention
Protecting the reputation of our students and partners is a top priority for us as a higher education institution (HEI) that welcomes learners from around the world. Transparency of information, anti-false communication, and fair competition policies are mandatory and must be observed in accordance with EU laws and international conventions.
We work in coordination with our members in other countries, consular offices in partner nations, and affiliated universities to ensure that the legitimate interests of our students, institutional entities, and partners are fully protected.
When media-related issues arise and information published in a press release, announcement, or article is false or damaging to our reputation, interests, or related parties, we, in cooperation with our partner universities, global partners, and relevant governmental bodies — including the Ministry of Education, Consular Affairs, and Legal Departments — will implement measures to counteract such misinformation, as outlined below. Please note that the information provided here represents only a small portion of the process and applies solely in countries and territories where we operate and admit students.
1. False Communication Behaviours
False communication behaviours include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Promoting or disseminating misleading information in any form regarding:
- The legitimacy of our institution;
- Our international accreditation and recognition;
- The legitimacy and right to participate in education, regardless of age, gender, socioeconomic status, or geographical location;
- Information, images, or materials belonging to us and our partners;
- Any other actions that could harm or influence the reputation, integrity, or interests of our institution, partners, or students worldwide.
- Engaging in communication that — intentionally or unintentionally — creates misunderstandings, is partially true, constitutes unfair competition, or misrepresents facts.
- Publishing content that contradicts or violates the public disclaimers or official communications issued by us or our partners.
2. False Communication Management Procedures (Applicable in Multiple Countries)
Formation of the Investigation and Resolution Team
We establish a specialised team (referred to as an Investigation and Resolution Committee) to manage such incidents. This team collects evidence, coordinates with relevant stakeholders, and follows a structured three-step process:
Step 1: Notify the Parties Involved
Inform the parties concerned of the violation, as well as the diplomatic missions of both the country where we operate and the host country where we are registered.
Step 2: Request Rectification and Compensation
Issue an official notice requesting the offending party to rectify the issue and provide:
- A clear description of the violation;
- Supporting evidence;
- An estimate of the resulting damage;
- References to the specific laws, regulations, or conventions breached — whether international, EU-based, or national — to which we or the respective government are signatories.
Step 3: Monitor and Enforce Compliance
If the violation is not fully resolved, we will closely monitor the remediation process and may impose further corrective or legal measures in accordance with applicable laws and institutional policies.
Amendment Rights for the Terms
We hereby reserve the unilateral right to amend these terms at any time, with such amendments taking immediate effect.
Terms already agreed with related parties will remain in force. However, if any signed agreements are amended, the revised terms will only take effect if they are more favourable to us than the existing agreement.
The new terms shall apply immediately to all newly concluded agreements.

Applicants are required to thoroughly review all relevant information before registering, particularly regarding their study objectives and the intended use of the qualification upon graduation.
To ensure transparency and clarify the rights, responsibilities, and third-party matters over which we have no control, authority, or commitment, Undergraduate SwissUK™ hereby declares the following disclaimer policy, with detailed contents as follows:
- We do not guarantee that programme registration automatically leads to course completion, graduation, or the awarding of a qualification. Partner universities will only issue qualifications and recognise study results when learners have fully met and completed all academic, financial, disciplinary, and institutional requirements.
- In cases of breach of commitment, unauthorised absence, voluntary withdrawal, or violation of regulations — including financial obligations — we reserve the right to refuse enrolment, withdraw support, revoke student status, and deny any tuition fee or cost refund.

Therefore, we make no guarantee, commitment, or promise regarding the recognition of degrees, diplomas, certificates, or transcripts issued by our Partner Universities or SIMI Swiss. We also do not guarantee or provide support for any degree equivalency or recognition process (if applicable or required).
- We do not guarantee that graduates will receive salary increases, promotions, or advancement to new positions after completing the programme.
- We do not guarantee or commit that graduates will obtain opportunities for immigration, overseas employment, work permits, teaching licences, or professional certification in Europe or any other country.
- In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, the dissolution or restructuring of relevant institutions, changes in government policies, or lack of mutual recognition between organisations — all beyond our reasonable control — we will make every effort to assist learners and safeguard their interests. Support may include identifying equivalent programmes or qualifications for transfer or substitution. However, we disclaim all liability for any direct or indirect damages or losses arising from such force majeure events.
- Learners applying for a visa (if applicable) are solely responsible for their information and immigration process. We do not guarantee a 100% success rate for student visa approval.
- Financial aid and scholarship policies (if applicable), as well as related information, may be modified or discontinued without prior notice.
