Capstone Project for Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management:

Students apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired to develop a practical management or business project in the tourism and hospitality industry, demonstrating competence in (1) planning and operating service systems, (2) managing customer experience, (3) controlling finance and costs, (4) managing human resources in service operations, (5) developing tourism marketing strategies, and (6) applying technology in management and service delivery. This project also integrates the core learning outcomes from the six major modules of the program.

Upon graduation, students will receive:

  • Level 6 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management from OTHM (UK government-recognized, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the UK ENIC/NARIC Band 9).
  • Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management from SIMI Swiss.
  • Applicants who have completed two years of a university bachelor’s program or hold a Level 4/5 Diploma in tourism, hospitality, service management, or related fields, seeking to complete a Top-up Bachelor’s degree.
  • Graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in a different discipline who wish to obtain a second degree to broaden their knowledge and develop competencies in international tourism, hospitality, and service management.
  • Applicants without a College or Higher Education qualification, but with at least 5 years of professional experience in tourism, hospitality, service management may apply through the APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) process.
  • English proficiency must be at least at CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) level B2 or IELTS 5.5
